The Federalist Society's Position on the Overbread Statute
The Federalist Society has been taking a lot of hits recently on ones for, as you heard at the beginning, we don't take any position on anything. But the great thing about the Federalist Society is we don't agree with each other. And this is a classic case in point where people in the same executive committee are writing amicus briefs to the United States Supreme Court and taking opposite views on the same case. We have more fun finding amongst ourselves because essentially no one else will. Our country needs more of those kinds of spirited, intellectual, and polite debates.
