The Muscular Load of Running

Nero muscular load is a broad term to encompass number of things, right? A simple way to me, it falls into a sort of mechanical loading on the body, in a way. If you take a thousand steps, and each step takes a hundred and 50 million seconds, you can figure out if you're taking x amount of or you spending x amount of time under tension. It's just compare between athletes, and even within athletes on how much they use their bodies when running.
