The Difference Between Intellectual Honesty and Political Reality

Lawrence v texas is the case establishing a right to intimate personal conduct. You can um criminalize on private homosexual activity. An obergofel, of course, is the same sex marriage case. But as a practical matter, there is not the political ferment for taking away the right to contraception. There is not even the political ferment to undoing of samsex marriage that there is on abortion. And so it's a contest between intellectual honesty and, to some extent, political reality.
