Dodo rimposhe was a realized being, hed alized fo non separation of self and other. And he knew he was dying, and he was really, really poor,. He was running a school, and they had real money problems. But to act in a generous fashion is of incalculable value. So what this makes me think of is one of those classic er buddhist teachings which draw on very, very heavily because it's so valuable.
