The Red Book - Part 2 - The Descent Jung
Jung devised an ingenious and simple method for communicating with his unconscious. It first involves entering a meditative state. Once Jung had placed himself in this state, he would engage a fantasy of digging a hole. In the Red Book, there is an entry for December 12, 1913, which describes one of these visionary meditation sessions. The entry is entitled Descent into Hell in the Future, Young Rights.
