The Internet Is Getting Bigger and Bigger

Mark Andreessen: In the early days of the internet, almost all the big telecom CEOs said this thing will never work. The economist Paul Krugman would go on to win the Nobel Prize for his predictions about the Internet's future. Milton Friedman wrote that by 2005 or so, it will become clear that the Internet's impact on the economy has been no greater than the fax machines.
