The Rejection of the Offering

Luther says in his Heidelberg dissertation that they are nevertheless likely to be mortal sins. We look at the work of God, graciously handing out favor and love and mercy to people who don't deserve it. And we go, that's wicked. How could you do that? Not realizing that we need that same grace and mercy. Reminds me of the theology of the cross.
