Glen Campbell on Southern Rain
I'd already met Dan before because we told him in America and there were a few years ago so it was pretty easy to go into the studio with someone you've already met. There's a sort of a more obvious kind of Nashville kind of sound on southern rain we thought Glen Campbell could sing that one almost. I couldn't be too loud because I keep the neighbours up so a lot of the songs are written in a lot of a lower range for me which is more comfortable to sing. It's nice to have that lazy vibe just singing behind the beat it works quite well for me I think. And you know I think it all a clotted judgement day, sudden rain.
