"I love when people try and give me some sass because it's kind of fun that I could then clap back a little for a second," he says. He recalls being heckled by George Massenberg, the legendary sound engineer at Berkeley who used to throw students in the mud before letting them do whatever they want. "In part, it was freeing... And then in another part, It was actually kind of damaging depending on who he would do it to."
