The Sign of the Saddled Child in a Bethlehem Märk
The significance of the swaddled child in a beth Bethlehem manger being given to shepherds probably arises from old testament prophecy. Ezekiel, chapter 34, verse 23: i will set up over them one shepherd, my servant, david, and he shall feed them. The messiah will feed his flock, but not in the way that people might have expected. Will be their food.
