Introduction
Bishop Barron reflected on the evangelical councils of poverty, chastity, and obedience. Usually, these are associated with consecrated religious, but in his talk, Bishop Barron explained how these councils can and should be lived out by the laity. He says that Vatican II wanted great Catholic parents, great Catholic lawyers, great Catholic politicians and writers and journalists and business leaders to all live their faith vibrantly and publicly.
