The Importance of Performance in Investing
In terms of risk and investments, the data shows that women are actually better investors. And there's the whole idea of the gendered language that comes in here with the investing too. I find with men, it's all performance and optimization and it's like 10, 100 extra turns. Like the investing itself becomes this kind of performative masculinity and it winds up hurting.
