The Shiniest Planet Ever Spotted Outside Our Solar System
The planet is called LTT 9779b, and it's about five times the size of Earth. It also orbits around a star, but its star is much closer than the sun is to Earth. This means there are no moisture-filled clouds like those on Earth. Instead they're made from metal and silicate that you find in glass. That makes them reflect sunlight back into our solar system. The mirror clouds also protect the planet, like a shield.
