The Dynamic of the Monasteries
Cromwell's men would have one to one with each of the monastics. He was basically saying, well I'm going to start by accusing them of adultery and buggery. You also have force of the state in a sense, pressurising confession. This is in the context of the supremacy which a number of monks at Chart House had died for. The dynamic is quite an interesting one from both sides.
