When I was in my early and mid-20s, I wrote three books that didn't get published right away. My competitive advantage was that I was interested in and good at writing books. Until you get to be a professor, it's held against you if you write books. People might argue whether my influence in education was denying or malignant. There's no question that I've had a lot of influence in education in many countries.
