The Importance of Beliefs
Our relationship with God is then a projection of all the, the interactions that we then have. The reason that beliefs are placed this way upon humans is, as I said, we want to make sense of things. So when we have a tradition that is really exactly like you said, taking something outside of yourself and asking you to essentially place belief in it has no personal resonance necessarily. What we're also doing is we're trying to train ourselves, you know, we're training people to pass on a way of thinking.
