The Nuclear Family Is the Best Thing Since Licebred?
One of my pet pevs is much of what conservatives preach is entirely historical. I think, a, i wish we spent at least ten per cent as much effort trying to save the extended family as we spend in trying tosave the nuclear family. The american corporate system of kind of shuffling workers around the different cities and expecting them to move away from home absolutely nooks the extended family ties. And a, it's weird cause, you know, the hunter gatherer tribes are all organized around extended families.
