The Buddha Was Not Revolutionary

The Buddha was revolutionary because he saw the immorality of the caste system. He created a radically egalitarian collective where all people could be treated as equals, women and untouchables could take on every role. So the Buddha was not revolutionary due to his focus on meditation. That is a rather modern misinterpretation. Frankly, it's a distortion.
