Why Do We Dream?
Most people remember their dreams as being kind of crazy and surreal. When you wake people up, you get exactly what most dreams are really, really dull. And then you get the continuity hypothesis, which is their sort of an extension of everyday life. So in fact, the murder rate in your dreams is higher than the murder rates in any city in the world. We can talk about that a bit later.
