What Is the US Goal With Russia?
The Russian goal is at least a bit more plainly clear. They don't want to see, just like they agreed to in 2014, a buildup in Ukraine. There's a lot of things geopolitically also with energy policy that people need to understand. If Ukraine becomes a major petrostate, the one leverage Russia has in all of Europe is totally gone.
