For instance, one of Matt's shorts received 3 million views, brought in 12,000 subscribers, but only earned about $400. In contrast, a long-form video with 1.2 million views gained 19,000 subscribers and made $13,500 over nearly a year. This clearly shows how shorts can reel in viewers while long-form content can provide better monetization.
