How to Train Harder or Should It Be a Lighter Recovery Day?

I saw just for for UFC 202, they were showing Conor McGregor's training and how he had specifically worked in more rest days this this time around. The next level beyond just planning rest days is waking up and measuring where is Connor at that morning and deciding should he train based on his heart rate variability because these these tools now exist. I know that a lot of some of the airlines are using it because we have been doing work with human charge or with the airlines because of course for the staff when they are crossing the time zones  they're suffering from jet lag.
