The Mismatch Between the Public and Private Sector

A question I have is that a lot of these digital transformation projects are long term. And obviously they're on the precipice of creating something new in the world. How do you balance the long term nature of these projects with other considerations like election cycles and other things you have to consider as a minister? There's politics and policy. I just think if we focus more on policy, that builds trust. So that's what I try to do. Most people are not interested in the politics. Sure, if you're in a political party and you get involved in all that machinations, but most people just want outcomes. They only government in their life.
