The Earliest Investment in Tesla Was an Investment in Elon Musk
Elon Musk didn't start the company. The earliest news stories about tesla didn't even mention him or else. They talked about him only as an early investor. In two and and nine, one of the guys who started tesl sued musk for slander and libel. He said that musk set out to rewrite history by claiming he'd founded or created the company. That suit was later settled at of court in a resolution that acknowledged five cofounders of tesla, including musk.
