The Redeemer

There's an idea, one of the ideas that's at the basis of our culture is that the redeemer is he who dies and is reborn. And it can be really dark if you let it become that dark. So see, because it isn't just that you have to get your story straight. You have to contend with your own unwillingness to stay on target. That would be hatred and malevolence and the desire for revenge or all that.
