The university grants commission, or the u g c, is a regulatory body for the higher education sector. Many central universities have not been able to hold out against such sweeping interventions by the ugesein two thousand 18. Sod is one of the few central universities which has statutory academic council and executive council bodies in which there are actually elected teachers representatives. The whole focus is on implementing different facets or aspects of the national education policy 20 20.
