The Supreme Court's Decision on a State's Execution

The case is important in part because of how it fits in to supreme court procedure and the supreme court's management of its docket. The other case that will be argued this outcoming week is ramires versus collier. It challenges texas policy that allows a capital inmates pass or religious adviser into the execution chamber, but forbids them from laying hands on the person as they die. And also prohibits them from singing prayers, saying prayers, or whispering or otherwise vocalizing prayer.
