Currently, the tracing is the most mature signal within open telemetry. In some languages, it's already GA. There are other signals that are being added to open telemetry these days. The community is ahead of the vendor-specific solution. If you're using data dogs tracing a solution, then it's going to be a project that might take you a long time.
