Socrates Says Happiness Is Inherently Better
Socrates is using the sort of a eudaimonic view of happiness that is a fulfilling life. So you might be frustrated or somewhat, you know, unfulfilled in your life, but you still have your own goals and to be fulfilled, that's what gives meaning to your life. What I don't understand, what doesn't make sense to me, is him saying that it's inherently better. Even if he wanted to make the claim that like, I think everyone first- I think he's saying that it'm inherently better for a human being.
