Should I Pay Off My Mortgage or Purchase a CD?
I've owned my town home almost 13 years, but I plan to sell and purchase a single family home in two years. My mortgage principle is about $84,000 at 4.75% interest. Should I pay off my mortgage or purchase a CD? All right, so Alex, this is a hard one for me to answer because I don't really have enough facts. If I were you, I would be investing right now in either CDs or treasury bills.
