The state of california, at least, required that computers have screens off in five minutes and sleep in ten minutes. So there's actually a big business in getting software that insures that your computers actually go to sleep. Of course, tracking who's logged into them as well to figure out what resource usad you actually have. But that has been something that i've seen grow a lot in the past few years.
