CHAPTER

Embracing Your Identity and Bearing Fruit

In this chapter, the speaker discusses the importance of realizing and embracing the fact that they are a word. They emphasize the need for patience and staying true to one's identity, using biblical passages to illustrate the concept of being a seed planted in the right terrain. Ultimately, they encourage listeners to embrace their identity as a word of God and bear fruit that advances His kingdom.

They may not have received the revelation that they're a word, but just because they don't know that they're a word gives me, does not give me permission to act as if, I'm not a word. I still have to be a word. I still have to act as seed. I still have to act like I am plugged into and planted in and rooted in who God has called for me to be. I am still a child of the most hot God. My soil is still heaven. My identity is still who God has said that I am, who God has said I'm going to be, what I'm going to birth and what I'm going to produce and who I'm going to be a blessing to, just because someone has decided in that moment not to be a blessing to me doesn't mean I get to put that responsibility away. And that's why God ties fruit to the heart. Because he knows in order for us to get our heart right, we gotta come to him. So I'm gonna set this up so in order for my children to bear fruit, in order for the fullness of the seed of who there are to bring forth the harvest, they have to come to me to continue to bear fruit on a continuous and mature level. And I say patience because patience requires you be patient, not just with the other person, family be patient with yourself. If anybody has planted a seed before, you will do yourself no good, planting the seed in the ground, coming out the next day and looking at where you planted it and just, then you walk away, come back the next day. And then you walk away. And then we start to tell us, well, if I stand there long enough, I'm gonna see something. You standing there is not making it grow. Your presence is not what causes harvest. God's presence is what causes harvest. God's season is when harvest takes place. That's why we have to go to him for the understanding of the word that we are and our identity of the seed that we are because when we go to him and we have that in place, the harvest and the fruit. And not just the fruit for us, but family, I need us to think beyond us, the fruit that advances his kingdom, the fruit that feeds your children's children, the fruit that makes you a good man according to the word, that fruit takes time. That fruit requires patience, patience with yourself. I'm learning to be patient with myself because I don't always do the things the way God has told me to do them. Sometimes I'll do them. I didn't do the way he told me to. If we're honest, some of us have a little strike the rock in us. Bible scholars, you know, Moses had one assignment, speak to it. You're mad, he got it as feelings. And his feelings dictated what needed to be done. And his feelings took him out of the identity God called for him to be and took him into an identity that the people brought upon him. And now instead of walking into the promised land with the people he led faithfully, God said, you can't go. Because as much as I would like to lead you toward the harvest, you did not work out the things of the heart. This is where I want to land the plane. Family, at the end of the day, the enemy would love for you to see yourself as a finished product right now. And I'm not saying you all aren't doing tremendous and wondrous things. Some of you are thriving in a level you've never thrived in before. Some of you are being blessed to the point where you are crying every day because the blessing is overtaking you. I think that's fantastic. Still a seed. Still a word unfolding. There's still more meat to be gleaned out of what God is putting on the inside of you. And with these passages in scripture, Jesus is saying, be a seed and be a word, but look out for your terrain. Look out for where you're planted because you get to choose the terrain. And I'll stop here. We have all been in all of those terrains. We read that passage and we think, oh, okay. So I'm the one who falls on the rock or I'm the one who falls on the thorns. No, we've all fallen on the rocks. We've all fallen on the thorns. We've all been through every one of those seasons. And what makes that such an awesome thing is yet God still trusts us to be His word and His seed. All thorny, rocked up. God said, I don't care. I have a harvest in you. I have a plan in you. And you are a word. And the word tells me that the Lord has said, my word shall not return unto me void. If we continue to be planted where we are supposed to be planted, to accept the identity of seed, we will not return to the Father with things left undone. When we return to the Father, we return empty. Let's stand. I want to speak to a couple of people. One. As I was mentioning, we are the word. Everyone here is a word. If that challenge, you go ahead and raise your hand. Be honest. I said, you are a word of the most high God. And you say, it was just hard for you to accept. God, raise your hand. Global family, I got you. You can raise your hand too. I'll see you all. It's all right. Because one of the things I've understood about encountering the word is that it will challenge me. I read the word and I read how I'm supposed to be. And I know I ain't there. And it challenges me and that challenge was on purpose. Because that challenge is the signal that the hard work I need to do, the bare of the fruit, that God has called for me to bear, that hard work needs to start now. So for those of you who had your hands up, let's start that hard work now. Heavenly Father, I thank you, Lord, that you have not only revealed yourself in a new way to us, but the Father you've revealed us to us in your way. That from this moment forward, we will have an eye towards the environment you have planted us in. We will have an eye towards our terrain. We will look to continue to do the hard work so that we can bear your fruit in your time, according to your plan and Father, to be the word you have called us to be. To be the word that you spoke into creation, that you placed in this earthen vessel. We will be the word I am that word. Say that loud. I am that word. Global family, join us. I am that word. Now, Heavenly Father, your word shall not return unto you void. We declare and decree that the seed you've created us to be shall bear your fruit. And we will come to you season in and season out for the proper instructions to harvest what you planted. In Jesus' name, amen. I have one last group of people I need to appeal to. Earlier, I spoke of the importance of laying hold of our salvation, knowing that once we open our lips and we declare that Jesus is Lord, and we understand that we are committing our lives to walking with Him, that the devil cannot have our salvation. There are some people in this house who need to make that declaration. If you want to start a life walking with Jesus, if you want to own the fact that He has sown seed and you are that seed in this moment, right here, right now, if you want to come on home, put a hand up. Put a hand up. I see you. I see you. I see you. I see you. Put your hands up. I see you. I see you. Come on home. I see you. I see you. Come on home. Come on home. Let's be the Word. We read it all the time. We're going to be the Word. We're going to be that seed. Now, everyone, can we all with our brothers and sisters who have just come home, can we repeat after me with them, Heavenly Father? Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love. I thank you for the gift of your presence. I thank you for making me a word. I thank you for making Him who had no sin. All of ours. All of my weaknesses. All of my shortcomings. All of my failures. All of my heart issues. You took them to the cross. You nailed them to the cross. Defeated them at the cross. And when you were raised up, I was raised up with you. Free and victorious and a word that shall go forth and not return to the Father void. We love you Lord. And we receive it. In Jesus' name, amen. Can we shout right now for somebody who snaps their salvation and is going to keep it and walk that thing out? Amen. Now, family, I want you to do this last thing. Earlier we spoke of these commitment cards. I want you to be very mindful as we move through this season of what you place on those cards, of who we are committing to be. What is the word that God has given you that you see it and you see you? If you already have it, make sure you jot that one down. And if you don't yet search for it, it will come to you. Ask, seek, knock until you get that word. I want you to be a part of the world. I want you to be a part of the world. I want you to be a part of the world. I want you to be a part of the world. I want you to be a part of the world. I want you to be a part of the world. Tune in to One.
