The most important relationships, probably, in caesar's career are with two other dudes. Caesar starts to make really strategic political friendships. Two main people that he forms an alliance with are naius pompeius magnus and marcus licinius crassus. They saw him as a rising political showman who they could use to bolster their own careers. He also became friends with another man named julius caesar marrying his daughter off to pompey. And then we get also then caesar getting the con ship in 59.
