Did You Start Off With 90% Informational Content?

The site is 90% informational, but did it start off with that focus? Or did you start off with this site being more of an affiliate-minded revenue generating site at first 40 posts in that first year? Was it kind of more evenly split and then you tangented into all this info content? Yeah, I'd like to say that I even had a strategy in terms of the monetization, but I did not. I just wanted to write content that would rank.
