I wanted to ask you how can even family reunification in some contexts on the state's terms be violent and why is it important for abolitionists, family abolitionists to think in and against the state at the same time? Yeah. Well, I know you were embarrassed earlier, but your thought was really crucial in helping me work this out and make it, I hope, fairly central and recurrent throughout this short, short book. And it's sort of about this necessity to always thinking beyond the family as a protective unit. It's something Dean Spade has been chatting to me about, like, and Dorothy Roberts's sort of work on abolishing family policing.
