The Case of Alice's Death
Pite's L had that unique set of teeth. So a lot of spaces, which were very easily identifiable. Dr. Materne was the only one who actually gave a shit about Alice and they had to present this body to her and have her look at the teeth. She looked into his mouth and she told the doctor that the teeth, quote, appeared to be like her papas. And then she left the shed. The agents from Fidelity Mutual waited a full day before they let Alice and Howe know that they found Alice's identification satisfactory. Holmes wrote a letter to the company also, by the way, and he wrote it as Carrie, thanking them for the prompt payment.
