Is Social Media the End of Democracy?
The way we think about democracy moving forward has to update itself. The written word was the dominant method, not only did you have textbooks but you also had people having to read long form to get any information and they had to know how to write right if they're writing letters and sending them via mail. You can't do short attention spans and democracy requires being able to hold many people's opinions and lots of conflicting information. If you're greatest enemies are your other or your other citizens in a democracy that's the end of the democracy.
