Social Democracy and the Rupture Socialist Ideal
I think that one of the problems with people who usually pledge allegiance to the rupture socialist ideal is that they don't take those things seriously. And what replaces a serious analysis of constraints under capitalism becomes a voluntarist idea that if the right people were just with the right will, were in the right position to make the transition. But i want to going to be clear that i actually am a rupture socialist, buti just don't think about it in the way that i used to. I think there'sa with and against the state dynamic for forright lik.
