The Importance of Order in Mitzvahs
Ask yourself this question, which type of mitzvah has more of God in it and less of you in it? I'll miss where we were given an order. Or I'll missing where we're given an invitation. How did we describe the difference between them when we set up the question 90 seconds ago? We said that when it's voluntary, it demonstrates noble character, high ideals, fine sensitivity. And hopefully I'm doing what you want because you want it. That's why it's a superior performance.
