"I didn't understand why things happened like I like cause and effect, you know like there were no relationships in my world. For me if somebody said you know it's raining outside I could not because I could conjure up a visual image," she says. "My lack of coordination, which showed up before school was that I was terrible at sports." She also talks about her struggle with social relations after moving to the United States.
