How to Protect Yourself Through Difficult Conflict
I think about it all the time and then I get mad at myself for having that thought. But I don't actually protect them really because I'm like, I put myself in their position or something and make it like me. The outside world is thinking, Emily Mortimer's daughter is behaving very weirdly at school. Why is that? She's obviously got issues. Or whatever. So you then start worrying about how you're coming across through your children or something. And she said, why can't you just believe me? Then it starts with being mean. If you take a side, it's harder for them to see there might be another way to look at it.
