Is Elixir a Type System?

Erlang and Elixir don't have a type system, so it's hard to do type inference. But in the scale of the trade-offs, kind of things, I am fine with saying, look, it's not the thing that is on my mind. It's still like being studied. If we can leverage the information that we already have in the code that we write today, we'll help people and we'll catch bugs. That's exactly where we are starting.
