The sex and the city phenomenon seems to appear in the form of higher divorce rates as opposed to low marriage rates. It's clear that men at the bottom income distribution of trouble marrying, which is what my mother would have said. For women at the top of Income Distribution things are more complex because they still marry a lot but there is also, it's also true that I tend to divorce a lot.
