The Economics of Solar Panels on Your Roof

If you've got solar panels on your roof, you're paying maybe 17 pence a kilowatt hour for electricity. But if you sell the solar to the grid, you're only getting about five pence. That's pre-crisis numbers that be more extreme than the moment. And I think soon you will part, you know, that whole picture has flipped around because of the massive rise in energy costs. So what it says is, the expense, the investment expense of investing in a battery for your home kind of didn't make sense.
