You can get some pretty detailed information about what the garbage collector in the heap is up to as a go programme by sort of asking the run time. There's a special function that you can call, and it gives you back a bunch of information. I really like this program called stats biz, which somebody named a r l made,. That just exposes this little t p server that has a little kind of real time drawn graff of the different lines. If you're running it on an active web server, you can see the actual amount of heap kind of trending towards that that threshold. And as soon as it comes above then you can see there's a line the fulgy sea.
