The Just Shall Live by Faith

Paul said, "the just shall live by his faith" in the Old Testament. The words were not clearly understood in their covenantal context until Luther and Augustine came along. Paul's quote may have been a variant of what Habakkuk was trying to communicate. But ultimately, the only way to be saved is through God's faithfulness.
