A meta slash facebook will push their own private, consortion block chain with long term goal of global financial domination. Epic games will push game centric vr metavers targeting mostly gamers and then being able to use or flaunt those in social aps. Twitter doesn't realize it's actually the center of the current on line metavers because most in the org do not think this way,. They will likely squander everything they could of from this preeminent position. Would a private twitter under the banner of elon musk be more or less likely to be at the centre of the growing metaverse? I don't know, but it's a fun thing to think about.
