Prayer is the converse of friends a. Because what we hope to enjoy with god is a deepened, a like intensity to love and intimacy. The reason for which we pray is to be like god. But it's not because we're changing in god's mind, or because we're change in god's nature. It's because god wants for these things to come about through mediators, through instruments,. And so in his dispensation, he has it such that what he could do directly, he does through our prayers.
