Baker became known as the single person on the entire scene who was most difficult to get along with. He wanted to play music his way, and wouldn't listen to anyone who told him different. Baker fell under the influence of a man named Phil Seaman, one of the only drummers that Baker respected at all. But he was a fantastic drummer, as Dick Hexdall Smith said. With the advent of ginger, the classic blues incorporated lineup would not be bettered.
