Amazon Mechanical Turk is a fascinating case of its own because there are similarities but there's also fundamental differences. The relationship or the process of labor ring is almost detached from the geographical location. You never meet on the job, another worker because it's an individual interface. And finally to fellow humans, well, like I said, you don't know who they are because you're really distributed across the world.
